Sure, I own a dog, you own a dog... that doesn't make me your friend, so let me go running without messing with the greetings and dog sniffing, please!!!

I mean seriously, since when was there an unwritten social law that dog owners are supposed to stop and chat as they pass by in the street?!?!

Perfect example: last night, I'm going for a run with my dog. I've set myself a goal to complete my run in under 30 minutes. I come around a corner, and there's an older couple walking their little dog. Naturally, my dog wants to get closer and starts pulling on the leash a bit. I slow down so I can control him better, and the couple start greeting me and asking what kind of dog he is... What? Can't they tell I'm running; I've got sweat dripping from my head and I'm trying to get past them, not engage in social networking! The problem repeated itself several times on that street, and by the end I was defeated... I ended up stoping and waiting until the "pleasantries" were dispensed with before continuing my run.

The biggest problem? - I came in at a time of 32'06...
